NoTrack Coder 2.8.87 — Control this computer from the web

Oct 18, 2026·3 min read

NoTrack Coder 2.8.87 lets you control this computer from the web. Turn one toggle on, open chat.notrackcoder.com in any browser — your phone, a laptop, any machine — sign in with the same account, and you pick up the chats running on your PC, live. Same chats, same history, with Approve and Stop — right from the browser.

No new app to install, nothing to download. Your PC keeps doing the work; you just reach it from wherever you are.

Turn it on

On the PC, in the app: Settings → Privacy → "Control this computer from the web." It's off by default — nothing leaves your machine until you flip it.

That's the only switch. Flip it off any time and the connection is cut instantly.

Drive it from anywhere

Open chat.notrackcoder.com in a browser and sign in with the same account you use on the PC. You'll see the computers on your account that are online, and the chats running on each one:

  • The same chats. The exact conversations from your PC — titles, history, order — streamed live.
  • Keep working. Send a message and watch the reply stream in, approve a step, or hit Stop — just like sitting at the machine.
  • In sync both ways. Work from the phone and it shows up on the PC too; the chat is one shared session.

Your PC has to be on and running NoTrack Coder — the agent does the work on your machine, so if it's asleep there's nothing to drive.

Private and locked down by design

This is remote access to a coding agent, so 2.8.87 keeps it tight:

  • Outbound only. The app makes a single outbound connection. No ports are opened on your machine, nothing is exposed to the internet.
  • Chat actions only. From the web you can only do chat things — message, approve, stop, rename, fork. Never settings, API keys, files outside the workspace, or a shell.
  • Your approval mode stays in charge. Whatever approval mode you set on the PC is what applies. Full-auto cannot be turned on from the web.
  • Only your own computers. You can reach only the machines signed in to your own account.
  • Instant off. Flip the toggle off and the link drops immediately.

Frequently asked questions

Can I control my PC chats from my phone?

Yes. Enable Settings → Privacy → "Control this computer from the web" on the PC, then open chat.notrackcoder.com in your phone's browser and sign in with the same account. You'll see the chats running on your PC and can continue them live, with Approve and Stop.

Do I need to install anything on my phone?

No. It's a web page — open chat.notrackcoder.com in any browser. Nothing to download.

Is it safe to control my computer from the web?

It's built to be. The app only makes an outbound connection (no open ports), only chat actions are allowed remotely — never settings, keys, files or a shell — your PC's approval mode stays in charge, Full-auto can't be enabled from the web, and you can only reach your own account's computers. It's off by default and turning it off cuts the connection instantly.

Does my PC need to be on?

Yes. The agent runs on your PC, so it must be on and running NoTrack Coder. If the machine is off or asleep, there's nothing to drive.

How do I turn it off?

Flip Settings → Privacy → "Control this computer from the web" off. The connection drops immediately and the web can no longer reach that machine.
