NoTrack Coder 2.8.76 — Resumable Plans
NoTrack Coder 2.8.76 adds Resumable Plans: draft a plan for a multi-step task once, and the app keeps it attached to the chat — so a long job survives interruptions and picks up exactly where it left off, while you watch progress at a glance. It's an optional workflow; normal chats behave exactly as before.
Plan once, then let it run
Switch the mode dropdown to Plan mode and describe your multi-step task. The AI drafts a goal and a numbered checklist of steps — and in Plan mode it produces only the plan; it doesn't start doing the work. The plan is saved with the chat.
When you're happy with the checklist, switch to Auto-run or Full auto and the AI follows the plan, ticking off each step as it finishes.
Watch progress at a glance
A compact panel at the top of the chat shows where things stand — e.g. 3/5 — and collapses to a single line so it stays out of your way. You can see what's done and what's next without scrolling back through the conversation.
Survives interruptions
This is the real win for long jobs. Close the app, lose your connection, or restart the machine — the plan and its completed steps are still there. Say "continue" and the AI resumes from the first unchecked step instead of starting the whole task over.
Clean separation of roles
Plans are created or edited only in Plan mode. Every other mode just executes the plan and checks steps off — it never rewrites it. And if there's no plan, nothing changes: the app works exactly as before. Plans are entirely optional.
How to use it
- Set the mode dropdown to Plan mode and describe your multi-step task.
- Review the numbered checklist that appears at the top of the chat.
- Switch to Auto-run or Full auto and let it run — the plan stays visible and fills in as it goes.

Frequently asked questions
What are Resumable Plans in NoTrack Coder?
A Resumable Plan is a saved, numbered checklist for a multi-step task that stays attached to the chat. The AI follows it, ticks off each step, and if the app closes or restarts it resumes from the first unchecked step instead of starting over.
How do I create a plan?
Set the mode dropdown to Plan mode and describe your task. The AI drafts a goal and a numbered checklist without starting the work. Then switch to Auto-run or Full auto to execute it.
Does this change how normal chats work?
No. Plans are entirely optional. If you don't create one, NoTrack Coder behaves exactly as before — only Plan mode creates or edits a plan; every other mode just runs it.
What happens if the app closes mid-task?
The plan and its completed steps are saved with the chat. Reopen NoTrack Coder, say "continue", and the AI picks up from the first unchecked step.
Can I see progress while it runs?
Yes. A compact panel at the top of the chat shows progress (for example 3/5) and collapses to a single line, so you can see what's done and what's next at a glance.
